CLEAR ORTHOTIC SHOE ADHESIVE


711 is a clear adhesive especially formulated for use in fabricating orthotic insoles and for the manufacture and repair of shoes.
711 can be used on a variety of substrates including, polypropylene, SBR, PPR, EVA and cushion crepe. Use 711 when a clear adhesive is necessary. Its adhesion and clarity make 711 unique. This product may be heat activated.

Composition 711 is made with a blend of flammable solvents, SBR rubber and high tack resins.

Solids Content 31 to 34%
Solvents Use our special "341 Solvent Blend" for best results to clean-up and thin. Toluene may also be used for clean-up.

Application techniques Brush, roll, or spray the adhesive on to both surfaces to be joined. Allow the adhesive to dry for 5 or 10 minutes. Properly position the two surfaces and press together. Re- positioning the surfaces is usually not possible, so proper position when joining the surfaces is important. The open time is 20 to 30 minutes depending on temperature. May be reactivated with heat. Alternately, if one of the surfaces to be joined is porous and breathable, the adhesive may be applied to one surface, and the two surfaces may be brought together while the adhesive is still wet.
